Shannon Kruger
Textile artist Shannon Kruger is originally from Oregon and now resides in the south sound region of Washington State. She started Minter Creek Basketry in 1990. Shannon has been working with textiles and handcrafting beautiful home accents for almost two decades.
Shannon’s gift is in the transforming of fine colored and textured textiles into beautiful art pieces. The technique is an old one that she has taken to a new and exquisite level. Her work is a balance between classic elegance and the enchanting beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Her artistic insight ensures that no two pieces are alike.
There are baskets for every personal style. Pieces are decorated with beach wood, natural stone beads and spun fibers. Each piece is a handcrafted, one of a kind original, functional piece of art.
